| If Sun and Hurley are at his funeral then he shouldn't be dead during his daughter's birth. Which then begs the question why wasn't he at the hospital.
However, maybe it's just some kind of memorial service so he might've been dead when Sun was giving birth.

| Exactly. They also seem to repeat some themes/scenes/twists that cause discussions or even fights among fans (ambiguous scenes for shippers, giving answers which leave us asking more questions, reviving dead people...).
