ALSO what came across to me the most about that perticular scene was it let us/the audience know that Lucas never talked to Lindsey after the Library/BB game about Peyton. Which COULD lead to that fiasco with the ring . Basically Lindsey took Peyton's word for it that it was KK's and that Luke never proposed to her .
