I've seen a few dubs in my life, i always find them humorous, as they directors seem to find just the person that sounds off from the original....not like them, but irritatingly "un-like" them.
No, I don't. Only Norwegians who understand German (to a degree) are those who chose to learn it in school. I speak Norwegian and English and understand Swedish and Danish very well (I would say speak, except I never do, since I can speak Norwegian to them and in more cases than not, they will understand me). I only understand the occasional word in German and only because we have the same or a similar word in Norwegian. I'm better at French than I am at German... hell, I'm better at Japanese than I am at German.

And I can't stand dubs. Cartoons and animations are one thing, but if I'm gonna see a real person, I want to hear the person in question speak, as well. Like, I grew up watching Astrid Lindgren shows in the original swedish, now, they are out on DVD, available with norwegian dubs... All of a sudden norwegian kids can't understand swedish? I understood it well when I was two... whenever we traveled to sweden, me and my sisters would start quoting things in swedish...
