Law & Order: CI moved to the USA network, a cable network owned by NBC Universal. USA airs the new original episodes and repeats of those episodes air later on NBC. The show had to cut expenses in it's move to cable. I know the stars had to take pay cuts and they probably cut production costs in other areas. |
