| Yeah, right  Really, the CW only picked up Oth again because, like it or not, it is a show that already has a loyal fanbase. All the shows that were on their first season on the CW this year had sucking ratings (even Gossip Girl didn't have great ones). The CW couldn't do anything but renew the shows which already had a strong fanbase, like Supernatural, Smallville and One Tree Hill.
And Mark saying that this season is the best creatively speaking is just bull. Even the fans who are enjoying season five have been complaining about the continue reuse of storylines taken from the earlier seasons of the show.
