Not sure if anyone posted this before, but just in case - our troubadour, Grant Lee Phillips, and his wife had a baby girl on Jan. 11.
GLP played at Largo in L.A. Friday, and the other troubadour, David Gruber Allen, opened for him. He used a character name of Todd Carlin so confused me at first, lol. "Todd" sang his song from Partings about how "nobody says hello
when they're goodbye-in'...unless they're Hawaiian" and mentioned that "some tall guy sang it in Gilmore." Was a really good show and we got 2 troubadours for the price of one!
