What are you on about?!
Between the 13th to 15th of June Kristen Bell will be at the Starfury convention 'Breakout Beyond', a joint convention for fans of Veronica Mars and Prison Break. Within the KB Encounters thread we've been discussing the possibility of using this event as a chance to show Kristen how much we adore her. Now as fun as it would be to jump out of a huge cake we've decided to go for a different, and more common, approach - a fan book!

Fanbook
We've decided to put together a fan book for Kristen which will be put together by us here on the boards and the clever glueing skills of Kirsty (Whordy)  . The book has 24 pages of which at least one will be used for an introduction page put together by those involved in setting up this project.

Extra Gifts
We are also planning on buying a few little gifts to give to Kristen, including things from each different country we come from. Obviously, this part will be limited to those who are attending the convention and can bring the gifts with them.
There is also going to be a fan-vid competition at the convention, which the guests will judge. If anyone not attending would like to make a video (Veronica Mars related) and send it to us, we will then pick our favourites, and enter them in the competition, giving you full credit for making them. And if you win, we'll send you your prize!
We will also be making a donation to a charity that Kristen supports (most likely Invisible Children). If you'd like to donate to this then please PM me with your email address and I can explain how to go about that.
Charity Donations
Seperate from the book, we are also going to be making a donation to a charity that Kristen supports, which we will then inform her of at the convention. We would really love any and all contributions from you guys, whether you're participating in the book or not! The bigger the donation we can make, the better.
All donations can be made to the Paypal account we have created for this project. To donate, you must set up a Paypal account, and send your donation to kbfanproject@googlemail.com. All payments through Paypal are 100% secure, and your bank details are not seen by anyone.
The payments we recieve will then be transferred to the charity we choose, and we will give Kristen a reciept of this transaction, along with the names of everyone who has contributed!
You can donate whatever amount you like, anything you can contribute will be greatly appreciated.
Deadline
The deadline for all contributions is May 18th.

So who is in charge of this thing?
Well we have four people as the brains of the operation. Three of these people are going to be at the actual convention and will be doing the actual handing over of the book. These are Kirsty (Whordy), Eva (motylik20), Mandy (Mandy-J) and myself - Rai.
Kirsty is going to be in charge of actually putting the book together. Mandy is dealing with the paypal account if anyone wants to donate anything towards the costs of putting this together and donating money to a charity of Kristens choice. Mandy will also be getting an extra gift or two. Eva will be putting together a home made cushion for Kristen! And me, I'm dealing with the admin side of things and keeping things organised with signing up etc...
How do I take part
Firstly we need to know how many people want to take part so that we know if we need more than one book. In order to do that we're giving everyone three weeks to sign up. Once those three weeks we can then let you know how much space you'll have to fill up and that'll give you a month to put everything together and get it in to us by May 18th.

23rd March - Final date to sign up to take part.
18th May - Final submission date for anything you want in the book.
13th - 15th June - Breakout Convention!
