| Board Rules/Intros #2: Pull up a chair and get LOST with us! UPDATED June 1**
Hello fellow LOST fans!  Welcome to the Lost Board. This thread will be your guide and if you have any questions you can ask them here; if you're lost just let this thread guide you.
But first off, you would have to be registered so you can enjoy posting here...
Since, we see a lot of people/guests lurking everyday and it pains us to think that you guys are not a part of Fan Forum. Joining is very easy. All you have to do is to follow these steps.
First, we'll just ask for your date of birth
Then, just agree with the terms and conditions
Lastly, create a username and password. (You will be asked to give your email and your time zone.)

Furthermore, after assessing our existing state on all threads here, we had come up with more comprehensive supplementary rules solely for the Lost Board. But please do take time to read the Official Fan Forum Rules and Regulations first. Kindly read carefully and adhere to these policies when posting. Failure to do so will result in abolishing your posting privilege.
 ANTI THREADS
Currently, we allow anti threads on the Lost board. We would also like to point out that although criticism is allowed please express your opinion in a constructive not in a bashful way. Also, we only allow character anti-threads, not couple anti-threads.
AVATARS AND SIGNATURES
Although we haven’t seen anyone breaking this rule yet, it’ll be better to include it here. Icons and sigs which bash actors, writers/producers, fanbases, shipper groups or individual posters aren’t allowed.
And keep your signatures within FF limits. Please see the Official FF Rules for your guide.
BASHING
Strictly no bashing on this board and it covers everything – posters, real people (i.e. cast, writers, producers, etc.) and fan bases. We previously had issues on some nasty and subtle comments against some fan bases and we are not going to allow this. Just not to offend somebody, please reread your comments before posting and make sure that you ain’t hitting anybody.
In addition to that, lurking on opposite threads (those you don’t ship or appreciate) is firmly not supported. Talking about what other posters have said in their respective threads in your thread is not allowed.
EPISODE DOWNLOADS
This is against Fan Forum rules. Links to any download sites will be edited out. Do not advertise websites that allow downloading of episodes. If you’d like to ask/answer this stuff, your PM should work.
QUOTING PICTURES
We’ve been lenient about this here though it’s actually a part of the Official Rules. PLEASE DO NOT QUOTE PICTURES! That’s fairly explicable.

Please do not post spoilers here, we have a Lost Spoiler Thread on the Spoilers Board. Go there! Use the spoiler tags if you wanna talk about promotional clips, pictures for the next episodes.

STAY ON TOPIC (AVOID CHATTY POSTS)
Keep “chattin type conversations down to a minimum on the discussion threads on our forums, as they detract from legitimate discussions. Now, we're certainly not asking you all to refrain from saying "hey" to all your buddies on the boards, but please do not make that the entirety of your post. If, at the moment, you really can't add something constructive and relevant to the topic of the thread, then we ask that you wait until you can. Being off topic includes hi, hello and how are you doing? in a single post and posting only smilies.
Just keep the discussions on topic about character/ship that thread is dedicated to.
We have the Off Topic Thread; use it for your convenience. Any posters caught red handed will receive a PM from us quoting their posts.
SHIPPER THREADS -- STRIKES
It has come to our attention that tension seems to be rising among the shipper groups and in the process, certain rules have been being broken as a result.
As a result, we have decided that we are going to invoke a system that will change how we deal with the ongoing shipper wars and so forth. This system will be called the "3-Strike Rule."
The rule is pretty easy to understand. Each shipper group will be given a strike when a rule on the board is broken. Once the shipper group receives three strikes, that thread will be closed down for 24 hours as punishment.
We understand that this may appear to be harsh but it has gotten to the point where a simple slap on the hand will not to the trick. It is sad that we had to go this far but this board is supposed to be a place where each poster is treated with nothing but respect for their opinions.
Some of the strikes we will be looking for are the following:
- Bashing of Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Juliet in the Copulator and Hooligan thread
- Bashing and making fun of any couples. Constructive criticism and comparisons are fine, but it will be our discretion as to whether or not it crosses the line.
- Bashing either fanbase or taking posts from their thread is not allowed
- Lurking in the other threads is strongly discouraged and members should leave it up to the mods of that thread to control them (but by all means, if you see a rule being broken, report it)
- Making fun of titles, or using titles that take jabs at the other fanbase is not allowed
On that note, Liz will be watching the Hooligan thread more closely and I will be watching the Copulator thread more closely.
Please be respectful of other posters and this rule is activated as of today so please respond to the thread that you understand.

*SPOILER POLICY*
There will be no spoilers allowed on the Lost board. It is actually a rule here at FF that all spoilers be posted at the Spoiler board.
So as of today, we are going to be enforcing the no-spoiler rule. There will be no white boxes allowed in the thread and if we see them, they will be edited.
