She took him to Duluth Street in 11.15 "Alone in A Crowd" to check on the Davis children after she found out their 'father' was someone the oldest boy paid to pretend. Pratt told her she could leave to check on them but to take Ray with her because Duluth Street's not a safe area.
The part about the kiss being his favorite scene was mentioned on another board sometime last season.
And I agree with Galaxy Duster. I'd rather have what we got than a lame excuse like 'He's off visiting the band' for an entire season when it was made clear in "If Not Now" that he'd been focused on the doctor thing and that's why they kicked him out. Or a stupid coma for a year. During which time he'd be shipped off to a rehab center because the hospital would not keep him there indefinitely. What we got gives us the opportunity for a great dramatic story if and when we finally see him back, and gives Shane and Mindi the opportunity to really knock it out of the park.
