I love Skeet, and Matt Dillion is very talented and should draw a lot of attention.

I think he was cast way before Milo. Milo has probably been feeling out the writer's strike and taking only small roles in case he needs to bail for Heroes to start. Let's keep our fingers crossed. I'd rather see Milo in Heroes than a movie to tell you the truth. Also, being in a bunch of small roles with good people is better than randomly taking crappy lead roles. IMHO.
