So Lauren I have a question for you how long is vet school?? | Normally it's 4 years-- 3 years (6 semesters) in the classroom and 1 year (3 semesters since you don't get summer off) working in the hospital.
I went to a vet school in the Carribean that is based off the American vet schools but we don't get summers off during the "preclinical" phase so we finish that in 2 1/2 years. Then they send us back to the US to do our last year at one of the American vet schools. So because of tha tit only took me 3 1/2 years instead of 4but Idid the same amount. After that you can go directly into practice which I'm doing. The other option is to do an intership and residency which you would do if ou wanted to be a specialist (a surgeon, cardiologist, ect). Interships are 1 year and residencies are 2 or 3 years depending on the specialty. __________________ Lauren~AminalLuv ~ALuv The Skinny: My Blog "If there isn't any bigger meaning, then the smallest act of kindness is the greatest thing in the world.
