Kinsey I hope your move goes well. My family moved from Maine to Pennsylvania when I was around 12, and we drove there on Christmas day, and the only thing on the radio for the 10-12 hr drive was Christmas music - nonstop. And that was before cassettes, DVDs, iPods - you listened to the car radio or nothing. I thought we'd all go insane! LOL! I'm sure everybody understands you can't sell your house, get a new place, pack and move AND do Christmas! HUGS because moving is very stressy and so is the holiday time. And roasting hot there as well - poor Kins. Maybe we'll all come visit you in Atlanta at your news place - although we still need to have a gathering at FearlessLeader's fabu new condo and give it a proper house-warming!

Yes, I think Violet is a lovely, sweet, old-fashioned name, and she is my favorite celebrity kid. She is just so sweet and adorable and Ben and Jennifer seem like they are happy and being really wonderful parents. Doesn't hurt that she's a carbon copy of her mother at that age. I think Kingston, Gwen Stefani's little boy is also adorable.

Happy birthday VB! Sounds like your holidays (and birthday) are improving. LOL, I was telling MLette's boyfriend that we're supposed to eat fried food for Hanukah, and donuts in Israel, and he said he just likes our religion more and more! He likes Hanukah too, for just singing a couple of blessings, lighting a few candles, having a present or too - very streamlined holiday! Plus having it last 8 days instead of 1. Maybe we will convince him to be Jewish too, if he likes it so much. Although I warned him the Shabbat services (most services) go on for hours and hours, it's not all so quick and fun. (I started Mr ML out with Purim - might as well start with the fun holidays!)

Places that don't get snow very often, like the D.C. area, it causes people to freak out when they are driving if even the smallest amounts of snow falls. Mr ML was in the Army in Georgia and there was a big snow, and the Army was called out to plow because the towns didn't even have any snow equipment - because it almost never snowed there. It snows here every winter and I am still nervous the first few times I have to drive in it - the roads suddenly have lumps and tricky spots that weren't there before! I really don't like to drive at all.

Mr ML dragged me out yesterday (this holiday panic has me nearly paralyzed) and we went to a mall and shopped. Wasn't too awful (although this mall has parking the size of 6 football fields and every space was filled up) and I found some things for some friends. Still have a long way to go, but at least MLette and I finished up our holiday cards. That was a big accomplishment. Although last year I decided I'd print up address labels for this year, and that saved a lot of time (and writers' cramp). Probably easier for the post office to read than my writing too! I was just debating sending a card to a Ros-friend or not - and the phone rang and it was her, calling from Vancouver! What a nice surprise! She must have known I was thinking about her.

Well, we need to go get some groceries and then pick up MLette at work (one of her work days is Sunday). We had some snow this weekend but it didn't pile up too much. I was worried we'd get the 4+ inches Scottie had!

Jason is so pretty! He has the most attractive nose. (He has the most attractive just about everything). I hope we see him again soon.
