June 12:
Unfortunately, further to what was previously reported, we have just learned that although he and his fellow HP cast mates are confirmed to do a skit for the Queen's 80th Birthday Party, due to Dan's busy schedule, the skit will be pre-recorded. However, it will still be part of BBC1's television coverage of the event which will start at 6:00 pm on June 25th and should run for about 75 minutes. (I presume this is London time).

It is still possible for Rupert to attend the party in person but it has not been confirmed, at present, if he has in fact any plans to do so.

June 11:
It was announced today that Rupert, along with several of his HP cast mates including Dan & Emma, will be attending the Queen's Birthday Party at Buckingham Palace on June 25th. They will be taking part in a special play titled "The Queen's Handbag", for a celebration of children's literature. It will be broadcast on both BBC1 and CBBC the same day.

Thanks to Gemma for the info

  • Rupert was at a Pantomime (theater group) Production in Hertfordshire. A rupertgrint.net reader posted this on the website:

    Quote:
”I went to my friend's Pantomime in Hertfordshire (north of London) last Friday (Jan. 13th). Rupert was there as we used to belong to the youth section of the group. He was SO nice!! He signed autographs and posed for photos and was really polite, a bit shy and really gracious!!! I am not a kid and I felt a bit silly asking him for a photo, but he was a gentleman and put me at my ease!!! He hasn't let fame get to his head at all, what a SUPERSTAR!!!!”
You can view her picture, HERE.

I suppose I have to look ugly again.'”

RUPERTgrint.NET is asking all Rupert fans to vote for him in CBBC's Newsround poll for favorite celebrity. They ask that you vote for him only ONCE a day.

However, it has become quite apparent that the poll is rigged and not a true and fair survey. There are people who will do anything so that Rupert never wins. We don't really need polls to tell us that Rupert is #1 in ours and many fans' hearts. If you wish to continue to vote for Rupert however, please feel free to do so.
