Exactly. I feel like she is his guardian angel! I mean I think that's why the writers have her saving his life many times...she gives him comfort and she makes him happy, as he had admitted. It's like she's taking care of him!
Did anyone also notice that Mick looked already upset/tormented when Beth walked up to him at the rooftop? To me, it seems perhaps, this whole ordeal about Beth being in danger tormented him...Even before Beth admits that she knows everything, he's already acting hurt...Like he can't believe that someone(a vampire/monster) almost hurt her...Then when she mentions that she knows everything, he breaks down even more...very emotional.
That whole scene is amazing...The tears in their eyes...
