I think saying she betrayed him at every turn is a bit harsh but I can see how some probably feel that way. I think the biggest motivation in doing this actually was Michael and I don't think she wanted to hurt him at all. I've watched the episode several times now and despite how Jan did or didn't feel in the past I saw a person that really does love Michael now. It was sad to see Michael have to see/hear the things he did in the deposition and yeah........it's easy to say Jan shouldn't have let it come to all of that knowing that those things would hurt Michael.........but I think she was looking at the bigger picture and how much the money could help both of them. I think the lawsuit was a bad idea period, but..........yeah.
