| Heroes Episode 2-07 'Out of Time' Recap (Milo scenes)
In future New York city, 2008, Peter and Caitlin walk down a deserted street, calling out to see if anyone is there.
Caitlin- "There's no one here, Peter. They've all gone. Evacuated by Homeland Security. Peter, what did you do?"
Peter- "Me? I didn't do anything."
Caitlin- "Are you sure?"
Peter- "We were in Montreal. I picked up a note from some guy named Adam who says the world is in danger. Next thing I know, we're here."
Caitlin- "One year in the future. I mean, how is that even possible?"
Suddenly, sirens go off as a truck pulls up beside them. Men in Hazmat suits get out and immediately order Peter and Caitlin to get on the ground.
Man- "Do you have any symptoms? Are you sick?"
Peter- "Sick? What the hell is going on?"
Man- "Take them to decontamination now!"

Inside a building, Peter and Caitlin are stripped and hosed down. As Peter struggles with the men holding him, he screams out to Caitlin.

Peter sits alone at a table in a large registration room. A man enters and walks up to him.
Man- "Peter Petrelli? According to these files, you're a dead man."
Peter- "What?"
Man- "I've got your death certificate right here."
He lays the information on the table for Peter to read, then sits down across from him.
Man- "So... you're gonna have to explain to me, how's a dead man walk around New York city with no sign of infection?"
Peter- "Infection? I don't know what you're talking about. Where's Caitlin? I need to see her."
Man- "She's from Ireland. All foreigners are deported."
Peter- "You can't do that! Who the hell are you people! What's going on here?!"
Man- "You really don't know."
The man is now walking with Peter down a hall.
Man- "On March 20, 2007 the first case was reported. After that, the Shanti virus spread across the globe. A pandemic. It's killed 93% of the worlds population to date. The rest of us live in quarentine praying to find a cure."
Peter- "This can't be happening."
Man- "I wish it wasn't."
They come to a room. There is a glass window that looks into another room, filled with bodies.
Peter- "All these people died from the virus?"
Man- "Yeah, it's been a tough week."
Peter struggles with the overwhelming emotion hitting him from the reality of what has happened. He stands there, as the image of him mirrors the painting that Isaac had done.

The man now takes Peter back to the registration area, where his mother, Angela, is waiting for him.
Man- (to Peter) "I'll leave you two alone."
He leaves.
Angela gets up and Peter walks over to her. She embraces him, but Peter pulls away from her.
Peter- "Do I know you?"
Angela- "They brought me here to help you, Peter. You need to remember who you are."
Peter- "I need to find Caitlin."
Angela- "You need to focus. You can move objects with your mind, heal, you can paint the future."
Peter- "How do you know about that?"
Angela- "You absorb abilities from other people. You are the most powerful of us all. You're a kind and caring soul. Selfless. Always thinking about others. But now you need to think about yourself and fly into the face of danger. Just like your brother."
Peter- "I have a brother?"
Angela- (pauses) "He died in the first outbreak. But you - - you can change that."
Peter- "How? I was in Montreal in 2007. The next thing I know, I'm here."
Angela- "You met a hero named Hiro Nakamura. He can travel in time. So can you. You can change history."
Peter- "I can't."
Angela- "You must!"
Peter- "I can't control these things that are happening to me!"
In frustration, Peter bangs his fist on the table and put his head down.
Angela- "Then this virus will kill us all. Peter, you need to remember."
Suddenly, Peter starts to see images of a happy birthday sign, Angela walking out with a cake, Peter kissing Angela on the cheek, Peter holding her hand, Peter and Angela with their foreheads against each others, and more images of Angela from the past.
Peter- "Mom?"
Angela nods, and they embrace.

Peter and Angela are walking in another area separated by a fenced area where other people are walking in a line.
Peter- "So what happens next? Where do all these people go?"
Angela- "Same place we are, home."
Suddenly, Caitlin appears behind the fenced area, screaming Peter's name. They both run towards each other and hold hands through the wire fence between them.
Caitlin- "Peter! I'm so scared! Please don't let them take me away from you!"
Peter- "I'll get us home, I promise."
He closes his eyes to try and teleport them back.
A suited man grabs Caitlin and pulls her away from Peter.
Caitlin- "Please Peter! Don't let them take me! Don't let them take me!"
Peter- "No. No! No!"
Peter now stands back in the building in Montreal, 2007. Alone.
Peter- "Caitlin!"
He colapses to the floor in despair, having left her behind in the future.

Peter tries in frustration to concentrate and teleport back to Caitlin, but nothing is happening. He goes back to the note that had been left.
Peter- (reading) "Adam. Adam. I don't know any Adam."
A noise is heard off to the side and Peter instictively turns and shoots electricity out of his hand towards the sound. It hits an outstretched hand. Peter is stunned as he watches the burned wound on the hand heal itself.
A man walks out (revealing himself to the audience as Takezo Kensei, the warrior that has been in past Japan with Hiro).
Kensei- "Peter, what the hell was that?"
Peter- "Do you know me?"
Kensei- "Of course I know you. It's me, Adam. Don't you remember? You and I are going to change history."
