| Actually, I remember a spoiler saying that halfway through season 7, the writers sat down and rewatched a bunch of old episodes because they couldn't figure out why people didn't like the show any more. (Hmmm I wonder why). Then I guess they got a clue but it was too late to fix what had already happened. I'm not sure what the source is, I just remember reading it a couple different places.

| I don't remember her changing her opinion, but I also have no clue if she's seen it yet. All I remember is her saying that "what happened with Luke in the finale is what should have happened" or something like that, she thought the LL ending made sense because that's where the show started, and also that if they had known it was the finale it would have been different creatively. I wonder what she thinks of the Lorelai/Emily closure (or lack thereof) in the finale. She always said she loved that relationship and IMO it didn't get enough attention. |
