The fact that Sayid will get a FF so early makes me think that we'll see more characters after the rescue than I thought we would. It seems like they don't plan on keeping the suspence about who'll make it off and who won't.
It's just my impression, but I could be wrong. | I agree with that, but there is always the possibility that there is something they haven't told us yet about the characters' back stories (although "shocking" and Jin and Sun seem to be an oxymoron). Maybe they're assuming we are concentrating on the post-island moments, and there is some TWF revelation in the pre-island time? For instance, if Hurley and Sawyer gets flashbacks in the premiere, we have Lance Reddick's character in Hurley's past.
