| I first read the Hobbit and LotR when I was in about grade 5, when the movies came out my original soft cover copies were pretty worn out, so I bought copies of the reissued books. My new set is actually signed by Elijah Wood - I don't normally collect signatures, but while I was out of town once a family member who was working on a movie with EW in it borrowed my book and got him to sign.
