No YA character has perfect parents. Ham's mother is cheating on his dad, Bella's mom left Bella's dad 10 years ago, Will's father assumingly hurts his wife, Monica Pratt is a self-centered mother that doesn't even notice that her daughter attends an all-boys school and Senator Calhoun might be Bella's father.
