| Ok I just saw the first pics of Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal holding hands (OK mag) and I got a new HALO theory. The Reese & Jake thing went public the week after their movie opened. Here is what I'm thinking. Peter & Claire are going to be unrelated very soon (check Paire thread for specualtion) and the actors and TPTB don't want to spoil their first on screen kiss so HALO is trying to keep their distance so the first time we see Peter & Claire it is climatic, a real treat for loyal fans.
