Little did I know that Marissa was being written to the mercy of Ryan since day one.
| This description makes me sad. Because it's true. It was so unfair that Ryan was never written to be in the wrong even when he WAS. Quote: |
Marissa's "letter" was created so Ryan could move on faster than humanly possible with his dependent stalker.
| On one hand, I want to think the writers had to have a contrived letter for Ryan to move on because they KNEW the weight of the RM relationship in the show and so they needed the letter as a plot device to show Ryan's closure because of the letter.... and because so that Ryan wouldn't come off as the cold-hearted, ungrateful SOB that he WAS because he grieved for his girfriend for 3 eps.
then on the other hand, it's frustrating that it's written at the expense of Marissa again! I'm supposed to believe Marissa would write him a letter. If she were to have written a letter, it should say 'F-K YOU I WISH I NEVER MET YOU'
And yet I remain a RM fan lol at least up till 303 |
