| Quote: | This goes along with your point, but his series finale may SEEM like it connects with The Pilot (Ryan picking up a kid JUST LIKE HIM), but I'm sorry, a HUGE part of the Pilot was Ryan meeting Marissa, etc. The fact that he didn't mention her AT ALL was insulting. | Exactly. I just don't see how he could do it from any point. You look at the pilot and she's HUGE. You look at the course of the series, she's HUGE. She's a part of the world. I don't see how you could kill off a character so important as a creator of the show. Anything I create, I start to look at the characters as extensions of myself. I can't point to one and say, "You're dead," unless it's part of the premise. I don't think I could spend 3 years writing for a character and go, "Time to kill you off." I WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND! __________________ your whole life is leading up to this |
