For me I'm actually really hestiant of having any of the new interns become regulars besides Lexie. At least Lexie is related to Meredith and can help her grow. We already have an issue of screentime . We only have 40 minutes in one episode, and 11 regular castmembers. Screentime is tight now . I rather have the new interns stay in semi-regular status like the nurses and doctors we meet on the show .
