and it was such a great scene I didn't like Lorelai...Lorelai at the end I was like give him your blessing woman!
| I had no Problems with Lorelai in that episode. Really just think about it, I'm sure she hadn't see that coming. And the relationship between Rory and her was always specially, not that deep after the big fight in season 6 but still. I think that moment Lorelai realised for the first time that had to let Rory go. For me it's similiar to the situation in the series final where Lorelai couldn't say what she wanted to and acted like she was okay with the fact that Rory would be away for month, that the plans they made for the summer wouldn't come true. She said it was too earlier for her and I think it was too earlie in 20. Lorelai is woman, at least for me which needs time to process something when it comes to Rory. For a really long time Rory was all she had, daughter, best friend, someone she could talk to every time about everything. But with Rory moving away with Logan and getting married to him or with Rory far way for month she coulnd't havt that anymore and she just had to learn that she finally had to let Rory go. She was just shocked that's all. |
