Emo is short for 'emotional' and is given to someone who is all about being upfront with their emotions. Nerdy glasses, vintage tees, cuffed jeans, Converse sneakers, black hair and straight bangs, tight hoodies and thrift shop attire are also associated with emo. It's a term some use for Peter (Heroes) and Milo's cameo role in It's a Mall World because of his 'look' in that.
