| Surprisingly, I don't think it will. Tom all ready has a feeling that Kyle was the one who injected Shawn but because it's his son he won't turn him in. And the only evidence he really has is the visitors log from the hospital which isn't really much. (just my two cents).
As for season 4, I really love the direction it's taking. The entire show is growing and this season seems to have added more of the sci-fi element into it. I'm sure that we will get the answers that the writers and directors are promising us.
