| I tried to say this at ew.net and some people completely lost the point and thought I was against Daniel and Emma. I DO think that D/E were more than friends during the promotion of POA and possibly early into the filming of GOF...those premiere pictures just cannot be denied and that brief behind the scene moment from GOF just said SO much.
You don't cuddle into a guy the way Emma did with Dan unless there's something there and it was very telling that he didn't even turn around, like he knew exactly who it was. I feel like they came as close to admitting it as possible during the OOTP promotion, with the whole "we all fancied the hell out of each other when we were 13/14" which would put them at the POA stage but they wouldn't say who and give specifics.
That said, I DO think things ended and while many have given "long and supposedly expert" commentary on how big, bad evil WB was responsible for the awkwardness and separation during the GOF promotion...I really think it's because THEY were still awkward and uncomfortable with each other after having been together and broken up.
That said, it was great to see during the promotion for OOTP that they're apparently over what happened and seem back to having their closeness and bond, which I think is great and testament to their maturity. That said, I'm not saying I can't see them ever getting back together...I can. Daniel and Emma just have a magic with each other that's evident when you see them in any kind of picture, interview, etc.
Also I've always sometimes wondered if the hold-up is Daniel...I don't know, there are so many pictures where Emma looks at Daniel and I just really believe she's gone over him but he strikes me as such an old soul, that I wonder if her being near his age makes her seem too young for him...I mean the guy's best friend is in his freaking 40's.
