I love going to the Renaissance Faire. I try to go every other year. At the local Faire, actors walk around in period costumes from Queen Elizabeth to drunkards sleeping in the street. The Faire is located in a heavily wooded area, and the actors will approach you and ask you questions. There is a jousting tournament, a human chess match, a "Globe"-ish type theatre, a minstrel show, and tons of arts and crafts booths. Oh, and food booths with food from the Renaissance era (as well as the present, too). Tennessee Renaissance Festival |
