Katie and Liz Whoa! I'm so sorry to see this one up here. We've had quite ups and downs before, too but not to the extent that we'll have this policy. I think both of you are doing a great job here at the Lost Board.

I don't remember the last time I read an entire thread here but I just did now.

The Mavie Thread was allowed as we never saw it a threat to any fandom. It was just a simple thread for fans who love Evie and Matt together - by that I mean fantasy. But I think we weren't specific about bashing real life partners, sorry about that. As far as I can remember I didn't read any kind of bashing on real life partners, so it was allowed.

It's a hard gig to be a mod and to try to be fair to everyone. That's just not possible. You can't please everyone. Liz and Katie defintley deserve a lot of respect for their decision even if one does not agree with it because they are trying to do what's best for the board. Making a decision for your board is hard enough as it is.. cuz you know that some people will not like it..so a little respect is the least anyone can give them whether they agree or not IMO.

Well said, hon. Yes, we do promote freedom of speech on this board, but when it comes to desicion-making, please let the mods decide on it. I'm sure Liz and Katie are only doing it for the best of the board.

I agree. Anti-ships will be just a subtle way to extend the pro-ship thread. Say for example, I opened an Anti-Sayid/Shannon Thread, posters might come in and say Boone/Shannon is better... so there you go! It's the new Shoone Thread disguising as an anti thread.
