| I found something as regard the name of the band 
The abbreviation t.A.T.u. is translated TATУ in Russian alphabet. When the band became popular abroad they discovered that there was already another one with the same name, hence the decision to use the latin alphabet and the choice of t.A.T.u.
The expression t.A.T.u. (ta ljubit tu) is a Russian pun which means "she loves her". __________________ Chiara, therefore Mischa.
