| This movie is basically the first of seven books to the Love Comes Softly series. Hallmark, thus far, has been going book by book. Clark and Marty(still played by Heigl) is in the second movie Love's Enduring Promise. Then the movies are taken over by Missy's character. Clark makes an apperance now and then, but Marty is no longer seen(but is reference).

Another scene I like is Clark finding all the remians to the chicken on the stump..."it's more like a crazy woman with an ax". He has the cutest smile there.
