| Quote: | IMO bitterness and anger--or at least how we deal with them--are within each of our own control. We can choose to focus on the good thins and enjoy them, or we can choose to wallow in the misery.
I've never understood why anyone would choose the second option. | And isn't this also so characteristic of what Luke and Lorelai are going to have to do post-kiss? They have a heck of a lot of baggage, and a lot of reasons to still be hesitant, cynical, and hurt, but they are going to have to choose to put the past in the past and focus on the NOW. Which, I think, is what life's about. I'm sad and bitter about the ending, too, but I think I'll really regret it if I go into the series finale with a negative attitude, so I'm going to try my very best not to do so. And I can't BELIEVE I have a final in 29 hours and I am on FF. __________________ When you figure out love is all that matters after all
