I just don't get the need for anyone to come here and tell anyone else that the way they look at things is "sad" or that people should "get it into their heads" - what is the urge to analyze and critique people's reactions to this thing all about?

Everyone is all over the map with what is happening and I for one find it incredibly condescending to read these sorts of remarks.

So - I wonder who Lorelai is talking to when Luke overhears her. If it is Rory, I can see him getting hurt and upset; if it is Kirk (or one of the other goofy gossipy townies) I would hope that by now Luke would see through that and realize she is probably just covering because of who she is talking to -

I hope this episode ends with some sort of clarity of this thing - though if it is clear up, why would the kiss be an unexpected reaction? Curious.
Why is it that I can't comment on people's comments or suggest (suggest, not dictate) another way of looking at things without being called condescending?

I'm not trying to dictate what anyone else says. It just seems like it might help us all feel better if we focused on the positive stuff that's hapened--like with the Grateful List--and the good stuff we're going to get--Rory's graduation celebration(s), the L/L kiss and reunion--rather than focusing on unpleasant stuff from the past or stuff we didn't get (which we may not have gotten in the first place).
