One thing that I just thought of. Lorelai is a firm believer in the "Max" "dean" etc...box. Remember she told Rory to make a "dean" box and wouldn't let her throw it out, because she would want the stuff someday. Yet, she says she got rid of all Luke's stuff? Just a though..........
