i do feel like we're missing a HUGE chunk of the picture for the end of the season though too many weird blatantly positive parallels for r/l to NOT end up together. So that's the moral of the story of the GILMORE GIRLS...everyone in gg-universe ends the season together and making forward progress except for the strongest couple on the show? whatev.
I keep having this recurring vision in my head of the end of the movie TRUMAN SHOW where Jim Carey's character is no longer followed and everyone who has been so atuned to the show from the beginning just casually gets up and has a "well that was the end" kind of moment ---- I'm so beyond over the crazy bs that this show has become that my reaction will likely be the same. I'll always love r/l and continue my interest via fanfiction.
