The encore thing is interesting. It might just be for ratings. 7H will be gone by then, and they'll want to put something there for a week during May sweeps, and a repeat of GG is sure to get higher ratings than a repeat of 7H. They already repeat ANTM and PCD, why not GG, too?
As for the idea of it being a failsafe incase they announce on the 17th that GG isn't coming back, well, I don't really want to think about that idea. We'll still know what happened, rewatching it as a series finale won't make any difference, IMO. |
