Ciaobella, the fact that we get more explanations from the writers about Lorelais POV and therefor you say sympathy (I definitely do not feel there is equal sympathy for L/L, I get the impression there is more for Luke, but could be the wrong impression) doesn't equate to me that Lorelai is never thrown under a psychological bus. The fact that we maybe get more insight to why the bus hit her and well what the brand is and all, doesn't mean that bus didn't still ran over her (multiple times). | actually i was the one talking about the psychological bus. I think that before this season there was a heck of a lot more sympathy for lorelai. But, partings and the chris marriage changed that for a lot of people. Those who were once fervant lorelai defenders could no longer bring themselves to defend the character.
Frankly, I find that I have more sympathy for lorelai in the second half of this season than I had for her in the second of season 6. Now, thats what I call ironic.
