See, what he fails to realize is that so many of us, in some illogical misguided emotional way, were clinging to the hope of seeing enough of LL together to wipe out the disgust and bitterness from all the C/L scenes.
Obviously not everyone agrees - but does DR realize how insulting and unbearable that was for many fans to watch, or even hear about? One hears that reaction all the time, in real life even more than online.
Does he realize that it could have taken a year without Christopher to undo the bitter stench of Partings?
Does he realize that most of us don't care if DS is a nice guy in person. We'll never meet him. But for many, his character has destroyed the once-beloved wonderful characters we let into our living rooms once a week for so many years.
