But the thing is that she shouldn't need that this time. She shouldn't need him to do this great, impressive thing before she opens are eyes and decides that maybe she will get back together with him. I don't want Lorelai to come off that way again. It's how she was earlier this season with Chris. She only went back with him because he was there, telling her how much he loved her. It will be awful if Lorelai waits until Luke does something like organizing the party before she can openly, and while sober, say how she feels. It would that she really didn't change all that much and still can't fight for Luke and face the risk of not getting him.
That's why I hope they can talk sometime in ep. 21. If ep. 21 ends with Luke still upset and her still denying her feelings, how little of LL together would we even be able to get in the finale with all the Rory and Townie stuff that's more important? The last thing I want is LL to make up at minute 50, then the next scene be the Lorelais and Luke in the diner for the final scene. |
