Definitely rent it.

Go into it with an open mind in that it IS a slow film in that it literally is about two people meeting on a train and spending the day in Vienna before the next train comes in.

There's no chases, no explosions, no mysteries, no spies or foriegn intrigue -- Things usually associated with movies that take place in Europe -- But that is precisely WHY it is such a GOOD film.

Richard Linkleter wrote and directed the film with his wife, so this is probably how those two met (or maybe their parents)...

But pay close attention to the dialogue as it doesn't sound like "witty" dialogue that most films have, but REAL things people in their 20s say and how they say them and you WILL see a bit of yourself in either of the two characters (if not both) which is exactly why it has such a cult following among those who want substance in their filmgoing experience
