I wonder what would have happened had Justin not have told Mikey and approached Brian himself, maybe they could have gone through what happened in the Chicken soup scene earlier or perhaps he would have had the same reaction? I just think that the fact that Mikey told Brian that Justin and he both knew allowed Brian to stew over his anger thus leading to a bigger blowout. I also know that in any other situation on the show, other people would have gotten pissed about Brian or Justin interfering in their love lives, I hated how everyone thought they could do so to BJ

That's what I always thought too. I'm pretty sure that if Mikey didn't interfer Justin would follow his first instinct and confront Brian about this. Like
Claudia said their friends and family just kep butting in their life and I agree that it had a lot to do with them not being monogamous. It annoys me how they were never taken seriously just because they didn't follow other people's rules.
