Yeah it was a missmatch last season, no doubt about it. But maybe she was about the journey.
Not make it all easy.
Do I like that Lorela slept with Chris. No. I admit I like Chris. But that was not the way to go about it. But IF it must. It should have ended quite differently this season than it did.
Let Luke and Lorelai know in the end, they are made for each other. Due to all the circumstances they went through. Know that no one else is meant for them. They found the real thing.
And let them know the mistakes not to make again.
ASP had her flaws. But no show is going to go through every single episode of it's run without issues. Some of my favorite shows have had subpar episodes, seasons. But in the end, it's made sense. And I appreciated the journey for the obstacles.
But that is me. We'll never know what ASP had planned. Unless when she is show is truly over, she says.
All we know is she wished Rory to be in journalism, investigative/foreign correspondent, and knew what dialogue she would end up as. She never wanted to leave, because she feared what they would do with the characters. Personally, I don't think she would have had Lorelai and Chris marry.
