Rory and Lorelai in the teaser. Rory saying she can’t go cause she has a ton of work. Rory said that she talked to mia and explained. Lorelai is trying to guilt-trip her into going. Rory complains about logan but says she wants to be there for him cause she thinks he’s really going through something. They are shopping for a suit for Rory to go on various interviews on. She)(Lorelai was originally going to go with chris. Lorelai doesn’t want to go alone.
Part 1
Rory and Logan. Logan is on the computer. Logan is being a little weird. He’s on youtube. (Scene from the DC). Rory agrees with Mitchum after he leaves. Logan gets mad that she agrees with him. Rory says she isn’t always going to support every stupid thing he would do. She says that he is hiding out that he is not facing his responsibility.
Zach and Luke in the diner. Kirk complains. Other DC. Emily and Loreali at the Mansion. Lorelai is still explaining the program that she did in 715. Lorelai says that Emily is hovering. Emily is denying it. Emily than complains about Richard. She is frustrated. Emily says the word ass. Richard comes down in a tracksuit. Loreali makes a Soprano joke. He is looking for a golf club. Lorelai and Emily are trying to get him to sign the tax form. He avoids it but eventually signs it. Rory calls Lorelai. She says she wants to come on the road trip. She is complaining about Logan again. She tells him about what happened and ageing with mitchum. Emily overhears about the trip. Emily talks about a spa in NC. Loreali says there is no spa at the BestWestern. Emily talks about coming. Lorelai doesn’t want Emily to come. Emily invites herself and insists that they take her car. Rory calls shotgun.
Part 2
All three girls are in a car. Lorelai is complaining that Emily is driving too slow. Emily says she can’t afford to take anymore chances since the DWI. Rory gives suggestions for Lorelai’s speech/poem she has to recite for the wedding. Emily locks the window so that Lorelai can’t open it. She makes a crack about a childlock. Emily asks what rory is up to. She says she is applying to newspapers all over the country. Lorelai suggests papers closer by. Emily asks what logan thinks. She says she doesn’t know they haven’t talked about it. Emily says she likes logan and that he’s thoughtful.
Lane, Zach and Luke at the apartment. Luke apologizes for bringing wine. Zach makes an uncomfortable crack about sex being great for inducing labor. They go on a tangent about not having any extended family. Luke thinks they are asking for money. But, they ask him to be Godfather. Luek is slightly uncomfortable. Zach says that there is no paperwork is involved. Luke hesitates but eventually agrees. They high five each other
Emily is at the a diner. She is talking to the spa. She is doing the typical Emily thing and being very specific about what she wanted. Emily complains about cigarette smoke. Lorelai suggests she wait in the car, Emily refuses. Emily orders turkey and wine. Emily asks them to join her at the spa. Emily goes off to the bathroom. Rory suggests that they stop talking about mia and that Emily is uncomfortable. She is afraid that once Rory graduates that things will get worse between Emily and Lorelai. Lorelai, Rory and Emily in the hotel room. Emily is freshening up. . Mia calls. She is checking on them to see if they arrived well enough. Mia asks if Emily is with them. Mia invites Emily to the wedding. Loreali says Emily is going to the spa and that she is busy. Mia insists. Rory accepts on her behalf. Emily says she has to go now. She complains that she doesn’t have anything to where but since its bohemian it won’t matter. Emily leaves. Rory and Lorelai watch a movie.
Part 3
Luke comes down the stairs in the diner. Zach is knocking. Luke asks if everything is okay. Luke said he doesn’t open for another hour. He offers to help. He talks about how peaceful it is at this time of the day. Luek says he doesn’t like talking early in the morning. He keeps talking about not liking to talk. Luke is putting away his cards(I assume baseball). He asks luke what music luke likes. Luke says he doesn’t really like music except for some Motown. Zach gets excited and says he has the right abulm. Luke gets a bit cranky. Luke says he can’t pay zach for coming early. Zach says its cool and that he just wanted to hang with luke.
Emily, Lorelai, and Rory at the wedding. Mia greets them. Emily looks upset. Mia asks Emily to sign the guestbook. Emily says she likes the home. She points out how small it is. Mia agrees and says howard has a lot of junk. They all meet howard.
Lorelai reads her poem. Its kind of rhyming and odd. Lorelai talks about something from when Lorelai and Rory were young. She toasts mia. A waiter asks rory if she is rory. He tells her someone is there to see her. Its logan. Rory is upset. He says he doesn’t mean to crash. He wants to talk to her. She says it so last year. She says she isn’t impressed by him. She goes on about him blowing off steam. She says that this is him blowing off steam. Howard comes telling her that they are about to cut the cake. Rory leaves him standing there.
Part 4
Zach and Luke in the diner. Zach is trying to make a music mix for Luke. Zach is sort of paying attention. He forgot to bring it. He asks if they (lane and zach) should circumcise the boys. Luke says its personal. Zach than asks what if they gash their heads. Luke says this isn’t the best time to talk about it. Luke takes zach aside and says he is freaking out. Zach is going on and on about. Luke talked about how he was with april at first and was clueless and how he eventually found his dad-mode and that zach will too. Lorelai talking too some random guy and keeps looking at Emily who is sitting alone. Rory comes up, random guy goes away. She tells Lorelai that Logan came and that she sent him away. Lorelai is surprised. Rory says that she is going to do this (something to do with logan) on her terms not Logan’s. They notice that Emily isn’t having fun. A woman called Donna comes up. She’s very hippy chick. Apparenlty her and Lorelai were maids together. She says that she was perfect for the poem reading cause Mia was like a mother to Lorelai. Donna offers Emily tea. They go off. Loreali hits the champagne. Mia comes up. Mia says that this must be difficult for Emily. Loreali says that Emily wanted to be rid of her cuase she was an embarrassment. Mia told her about the season 1 visit. Loreali is surprised. Mia tries to tell Lorelai that this is difficult for Emily too. Rory brings food out to Logan who is still outside the hourse. Logan explains that he wants to apologize and that he was being immature. Logan explains how he couldn’t face the business failure and that he fell in some whole. Rory makes a bunch of whatever faces. Logan says he went to his dad and that he quit. Logan says it felt great to stand up to his dad. Rory is surprised. Logan says that he thinks Mitchum may have been proud of him. Rory says she is proud of him too.
Emily looking out at Rory and Logan. Mia and Emily talk. Emily gushes about Rory as Loreali listens. Lorelai looks a bit sad. She interrupts mia and Emily’s moment and says they should be going.
Part 5
Zach and Luke again. Zach apologizes how he’s been behaving. Luke said he was glad to help. Zach gives him the music mix he made for him. Lane calls, her water broke. Zach is freaking out. Luke closes the diner and he offers to drive zach and lane to the diner.
Rory, Emily, and Lorelai. Emily says she’s not staying. Rory insist that Emily stays. She goes to the vending machine to get Emily something. Lorelai tells Emily that she bought rory a suit. She says that it will be hard without Rory. Lorelai says it was hard for Emily to be without her. She asks if Emily wants to watch the Pursuit of Happiness. Emily says that Will Smith is good looking. Rory comes back and says that lane had her babies. She shows them the pictures that zach sent. Emily says “I’m sure the camera distorts their faces”
The three of them settle in too watch the pursuit of happiness. Lorelai tells Rory that Emily has the hots for Will Smith. Emily denies it. The lalala music plays during the last scene.
