I don't see much point in the last line of the ep. It was OBVIOUS Alex was likely Danielle's daughter, it would have been obvious to Danielle and it was obvious to the audience, there was no need for Kate to spell it out like that. And Kate didn't have any special info that made her being "pretty sure" anything that counted.

Good that Danielle knows though. I hope there's development on that soon.
