I think Rory's going to pull some version of Logan's "you love school" from N&IL, but they're a much more established couple at this point, so she's going to be more firm, more open. Likely using her own over reaction to Mitchum as an example. And he's still pissy and is going to freak out on her since his father isn't really an option. You tend to go off on those that you know love you most, even if you don't really mean it, because you know they love you. Kinda a combo of that and what she said last night to him. And in the end he's going to realize she's right. It's not the end of the world, how he's looking at it. And how she reacted at the end of S5. It's a set back, it's a learning experience.
Not sure how we get to him quitting. Though Mitchum's being an ass, as usual. But I love Mitchum's assyness.
Oh, and I liked hearing some subtle snark from Luke in the other one. Or at least I think it was subtle snark. More than a rant I would like a quip or some snark from him. So I'll take it!
