| She asked him about what this is that she heard about him sellling it. Then she basically just listened on while he talked about getting a new better one, that he can take April out on, since he knew he'd never finish the old one. She said that that was good. And then she joked about how it used to take him a week to by a T-shirt. She didn't really say much, but her sad lookwhen Luke said that "Things Change" said a lot, IMO.
I don't think Luke's cutting his strings with the town. I think he was told so many times that day that all he does is do the same thing every day and work in the diner, and cook in the diner, and everything that he just wanted to do something to show that he could do something different every once in awhile. |
