| As far as I know he was just appointed. At least there was never an election mentioned afterwards until Season 2. (to my knowledge)
I agree with the Caro's, it's sad that RT never went back to establish a little more of Lamb's motivation and behavior outside his antagonism towards the Mars Family. In Season 2 there were a few glimpses like the Manning case and him blackmailing Terrence for nothing but profit. All those nuances were taken out in Season 3, just establishing him as dumb and incompetent.
In S2 it was mentioned that Crime rate dropped since he was in office, and all the 51% that voted for him couldn't have been 09er that hoped for him to lean their way ... so he must have done some things right. __________________  Stef
