| What are the chances Liz is at Lane's shower? And she says Luke is selling his boat because she and TJ just couldn't store it in their garage anymore now that they have the van and their booth. Lorelai overhears this and goes and sees Luke after the shower or whenever and says she'll store the boat -- he can't give/sell his father's boat to Kirk. Maybe she is even the one who suggests a father/daughter bonding thing. It's a great place for Luke to tell April stories of her grandfather.
ETA: And the boat is in front of the diner? And Lorelai ends up having Lane's shower at Miss. Patty's which is right across the street from the diner right? And she's at a shower with a bunch of townies correct?
