| Quote: | In regards to the anvils... do everyday viewers notice them as blatently as we do? Or do we notice them because we know what the future holds and we're just looking for every little clue to tell us that that future is really going to happen? Like last week when Lorelai was reading the song titles did the average viewer think "symbolism!" or just think she was reading song titles?
Yeah, definitely just some early morning rambling. | I was wondering that, too. Do others see this?
IMO the song thing was pretty obvious, it was like a high school english class as far as that symbolism was concerned! But other stuff...maybe other people don't notice it because they aren't looking for it like we are? Maybe only one thing gets through for every couple of things we pick up. So then the non-obsessed are all, "oh!" while we are all, "duh!"
I'm rambling as well! __________________ "So you concur?" "Dear God, yes." Luke & Lorelai "...several scenes hinting at sexual tension between Harry's best friends, Ron and Hermione, who can't keep their hands off each other -- and can't figure out why." --SF Gate, POA review. |
